Material & Technology
This item is designed and made in my workshop and an environmentally friendly, biodegradable material known as PLA WOOD is used.
PLA is polylactic acid, a polymer derived from plants such as corn, wheat or beet, rich in natural sugar and is very strong and durable with an amazing aesthetic effect!
PLA WOOD has the same properties as pla but also has wood fibres.
The feel and smell is fantastic!!!
To get the best results from this material, we use 3D Printing technology which allows us to create any shape we want. This technology is based on the concept of combining layers of melted material with each other to obtain the desired object.
3D printed objects have a very good finish but, due to this technology, may have slight defects such as lines and bumps.
Due to the nature of the material, pla wood may be a little darker or lighter, so each object may be slightly different from one another.
